Electric Wheel Chair Presentation

" I've got my life back with buggy ! "

Muriel Plumbe, from Caister-on-Sea, received one of the biggest surprises of her life on June 6th, when she was presented with a mobility buggy.

The scooter gift was handed over by the Presidents of Great Yarmouth Haven Rotary club and Gorleston Rotary club.

The two clubs with the help of the charity organisation, Remap, had identified Mrs Plumbe as a suitable beneficiary of such an aid.

The buggy , which was donated to the Clubs by Rotarian and local businessman, Mike Butcher, is to be held in trust by the two clubs who have arranged the loan for Mrs Plumbe for as long as the buggy is needed.

Mrs Plumbe was delighted to accept the buggy saying it had given her her life back and her immediate concern was to familiarise herself with the controls so that she could once again take her dog for a walk.
