Haven's Triple Shooting Competition

Thursday evening June 19th 2008 at Potters Leisure Resort, 20 members and guests took part in a triple shooting competition.

The events were Clay pigeon shooting ( 10 shots ), target bird shooting with air rifles ( 15 shots ) and indoor archery ( 20 arrows ).

Each contestant took part in each event and the totals were added up to find the winners with the highest scores. Potters staff generously advised and kept the records. After all was completed, drinks and sandwiches were available, before the prize giving.

Special thanks to Mike Butcher for organising the event, and Brian Potter for allowing his facilities and staff to be used. A small contribution will be made to The Foundation Committee from the proceeds.
