The Presidents Ladies Evening 2010

Saturday 10th April was President Mike's ladies night.

This year the annual event was held at the prestigious location of Zests in the Potters Leisure Complex in Hopton.

Attendance from Members was a little disappointing but nevertheless , those 70 + members and guests that attended had a wonderful evening.

An informal drinks session was followed by a very well presented 3 course meal and after that , nearly everyone joined in with energetic dancing to the resident DJ. ( many aching limbs the next day ! )

During the evening a special raffle was held for the lovely painting that Sharon, Mike's partner, presented to the Club, and £157 was raised which was donated to Rotarian Brian Potters fund raising for the Palliative Care East.  The lucky person to win the painting was Rotarian Tony King ,who said it would look lovely hanging in his conservatory.

Thanks to Mike for arranging for several ladies to have flower decorations, but special thanks to IP John Burroughs for making all the arrangements, and the hard work that goes into making such an evening, a memorable and enjoyable occasion.
