Presidents Handover Day July 5th 2010

The annual handover of the Presidents office and the change in officers and committees took effect from today.

Outgoing President Mike thanked all his team and the members for a memorable year.

An extremely good attendance ,with special guests watched incoming President John Burroughs take over for this Rotary year and received the chain of office from Mike. He then proceeded to welcome Robert Lovick as Vice President and Bob Price as Junior Vice. John outlined his thoughts for his year and felt as we had such a good fellowship and membership that " if it aint broken ,don't fix it ! "

The Gorleston President and the Great Yarmouth President added their good wishes for John for the coming year.

It was particularly pleasing to see the return from Kuching in Sarawak of our former President Michael Woods for a short visit.

A delayed presentation of a unique duck race plate from our last Duck Race was performed introduced by International committee chairman Richard Delf.

   Three wise men !!
