Presidents Handover Day July 7th 2008

              President Ian Thomson introduced the incoming President from the Great Yarmouth Club, Ian Dalgleish. After recalling his pleasant year of office, and all the events that had been enjoyed throughout his year, he inducted incoming President Elect, Robert Parker with his chain of office for the forthcoming Rotary year.

               Mike Erskine was inducted with his chain of office as President Elect and John Burroughs as Junior Vice President.

               President Robert then gave an account of his wishes and expectations for his year invoking plenty of laughter from his speech and was very honoured to have been elected and would do his utmost to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors and keep the Club in its usual happy and casual atmosphere. Rotarian Ian Dalgleish gave his best wishes to President Robert throughout his Rotary year.

As we have no ladies,Robert decides to present flowers to Ian after inducting him as New President for 2008 - 2009
