Our Fellowship Garden Party. Sunday July 25th 2010.

What a splendid afternoon ! The weather was kind...warm with a little breeze. 39 Members and wives and partners attended our first garden party at the home of Bill and Diana Cooke. A huge thank you to them for allowing us to spend a wonderful fellowship afternoon in their lovely spacious garden and house.

Everyone helped with the lovely food by each preparing something and bringing along to the table. It was so good that most guests went for "seconds" !  The desserts were delicious too!! We have some good cooks amongst us !

Some entertainment was provided by Bill in the form of Croquet and Golf pitching. However it was so pleasant to sit around with a glass of drink and generally have a good chat and fellowship.

Special thanks to John Burroughs, Robert Lovick and Alan Carman who helped to make the event so successful !
