Organisers of the Friendship Club (Gorleston), receive a cheque for £250 from members of the Great Yarmouth Haven Rotary Club.  The Friendship Club was started in 2007 and had 7 members (from 18 to 65 years of age) but has now grown to just over 40.  The club was set up to help those people who suffer with learning difficulties to socialise away from their normal environment giving them the chance to attend various functions and outside events.  They meet at the Gorleston Social Club every Wednesday and an evening meal at the Kevill Arms Gorleston gave Haven Rotary Members the chance to pop in and present the cheque.
