Annual Car Rally 2008

This years Car Rally was held on Thursday June 5th. Organised by Wally Ladmore and Leslie Seabert.

The event was well attended by Club members and their guests. The start was at the Lathams car park at Potter Heigham ,where entrants were handed their sheet of questions and a sealed envelope with the final destination.

Some found the route and questions quite easy, while one pair ,who will be nameless got completely lost and had to finally open the sealed envelope and proceed to the final destination, which was The Pleasure Boat at Hickling.

When all were finally checked in, a very nice carvery was enjoyed in the pleasant restaurant.

President Ian presented the winners with their prizes, after the raffle.

It was no surprise that the winner was Norman Bailey, ably assisted by Hazel, Ted Witton and Carol Horne. Second place to Richard Delf and team, third to " the girls", and 4th to " the boys" !
