Charity wins at 2010 Greyhound Races
 The annual Greyhound evening held at Yarmouth Stadium on a cold wet night in
January proved to be yet another success. The Community Service
project under the direction of Committee Chairman, Bob Price and Club
Treasurer, Michael Muskett raised over £1500 to go towards local Community
causes. The race card was completed with sponsors, some from within the club
and some outside. Bob Price paid special tribute to the sponsors who support
the Club and the event over and above the call of duty. He also thanked all
those who gave prizes for the raffle which raised £222.
The evening which consisted of participants betting on the races in a
leisurely atmosphere whilst being served dinner and socialising was
appreciated by all who attended.
