Haven Rotary Car Rally June 11th 2009

A wonderful turn out this year of 46 members and guests, had a very interesting and thoroughly enjoyable evening around the local countryside ,attempting to unravel all the questions on this years annual car rally.

Eventually all completed the course ,set admirably by Leslie and Kristina Seabert, and finished up for the 2 course meal at the "slippery heel" !! ( The Eels Foot Inn )

A choice of Roast beef, Fish and chips or Chilli con carni was served followed by a dessert and coffee. Thanks to to Linda at the Eels Foot for providing a suitable venue and very nice meal well attended to by the helpful staff.

President Robert in his usual articulate way, thanked all for taking part and gave out the winning prizes to the top 3 teams.

Special thanks to Wally Ladmore and Leslie for the organisation, and a sum of £48 was raised on the evening for The Foundation Committee.
